I can't get over what this season has been for Fashion. I mean, how can you not be totally inspired by such brilliant composition? It's beauty, in an almost holy sense, like divinity, at it's heart; that's what it all is. The knitwear and long trenches of A.F.Vandevost's Fall/Winter 2012-13 Collection from Paris Fashion Week are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. I'm obsessed with all these simple forms that designers seem to be pushing out. Shapeless, over-sized jackets that cascade with such effortlessness over the entire form; it is so dark and mysterious, yet so ethereal at the same time. The fashion in this collection specifically carries that presence throughout the entirety of the show; and though it is so simple, the power of it's construction and execution makes it appear almost regal. Magnificent, brilliant, flawless.
